Why doesn't your book turn up easily? I have searched a lot for python resources for kids. I forced a class of grade 8 through Snake Wrangling last year, and it wasn't fun.
This year I'm part way through my own Moodle course, when I stumbled across your book through a comment you wrote on a blog somewhere. I've linked your book from my course now.
I have two suggestions:
1. include an "index" (contents page) link on all pages, like most online Linux howtos do. ()
2. Change your chapter titles to reflect the python content, or create an index for the purpose. If I want to refer kids to loops, for example, its not at all obvious which chapter that would be in.

Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. If my Moodle course becomes more polished I will also release it under a CC licence.

P.S. I love the anti-spambot measure. I had reused Atwood's constant text version (e.g. a fruit), but I like this even better :-)
