Hi there, really thanks for publishing book online for free. It’s pretty good introductory book for programming. However a small issue that is always on my mind when I read this book is on the conventions, I feel it would be better to follow PEP8 guidelines of variables, methods being lowercase letters separated by underscores in general instead of adopting lowerCamelCase since we are working with python here & it would be good to follow python conventions.

This will help keep things more consistent when the user work with pygame later in this book than to confuse the user at the difference in naming conventions.

    Good day,

Very good book for people who needs to read some code in order to start learning as python is a bit complicated to grasp.

I’m learning and reading the hangman code at this point and I’ve found some thing that don’t let me run it and I think a lot of people out there will run into the same issue.

I fixed out the bugs and the program is now running fine under python 2.6.6.

Email me once you have the time so I can send you the modified working version for 2.6.6.
