My new book: "Making Games with Python & Pygame"

I’ve completed my next book, which focuses on the Pygame library and making graphical games in Python. It assumes you have a little bit of Python programming knowledge. The book is free to read online from http://inventwithpython.com/pygame and can also be bought on Amazon.com for $25.

Thanks to everyone who helped me out with this book over the last year and a half.

“The traces were all done for the 1st edition of the book, which used Python 2 instead of Python 3. I’ll try to update these as soon as possible.”

    Hi
Are you going to put the traces in or not? I’m enjoying the book but I don’t think it’s complete until you put the trace feature in, as it’s promised and linked.

    Al,
Your book on game programming with python and pygame is really awesome. But there is a SLIGHT problem because of which your codes don’t run. The website you wrote of to download pygame from does not have pygame for python 3.4; the following website contains an usable version, using which people can run the code in your book.

Thanks for writing such a great book.

    Dear Al,
Your book is a great support to us as I was quite new to Python and wanted to explore. All your codes are working I simply follwed all instructions mentioned.
    Great job Sir!!!

    With Best Wishes
